I dedicated this video to every smile my kids give me every day! At the beginning is really hard to believe you can reach happiness having tWo children with special needs, then you find that everything is a prejudice living in your mind..OF COURSE YOU CAN BE HAPPY! you should be Happy and you must be HAPPY! BECAUSE you have everything to be happy : LOVE, MORE LOVE AND MORE LOVE!
Since they were born I have been through many different and hard times, but their light have been always shinning my way and showing me light at the end of the tunnel.
My life is not pefect (OF COURSE) but it's exciting, amazing and a wonderful experience of learning.
The most important I have learned from them : TO BE A BETTER PERSON, to BELIEVE in others, to UNDERSTAND others, to RESPECT everyone's way TO BE AND TO EXIST and a really nice one TO SMILE and BE HAPPY!
Being happy is not a circumstance provided to "some special people" HAPPINESS IS A PERSONAL DECISION and as the mother of two children with DOWN SYNDROME I have decided to be AS HAPPY AS I CAN BE!

My name is Eliana Tardio, I am a Public Relations Professional with an specialization in Marketing and Sales Management, I emigrated to United States 6 years ago from Bolivia and has been serving the community since them, not only as a professional, also as an advocate in my role as the mother of two children with Down syndrome.
The last three years I have been recognized for the most important Hispanic broadcast as mother of the year and Mom Inspiration, for my important contribution to educate and empower parents to become active components of their communities in United States.
I am the author of two books in Spanish and also the creator and leader of the Network that holds my name, that serves as a very important resource for thousands of parents with children with special needs around the world.
This year I have been chosen as one of the 7 most influent bilingual Hispanic bloggers mothers in the Country and have started a new project of education through Viva la Familia de Todo bebe with Jeannette Kaplun/Univision, by sharing my knowledge and experience as a mother and professional with the millions of people that this Tv Show reaches every week. I am a proud mother and very passionate about teaching others how amazing is to take the motherhood as the mission of our lives to have a better future not only for America, for our whole world too.
