In my opinion, one of the best beverages to share as a family is milk. But we’re so used to enjoy it, that we usually don’t think about how it got to our table. It’s a fact that milk generally takes 48 hours to arrive in stores and supermarkets in your neighborhood. It’s minimally processed and that’s why it’s so fresh since it comes from farms, many of which are operated by families that are a 300-mile radius on average from the store and your home.
Most kids love milk, as do many parents. It’s a fresh drink that is satisfying and nutritious at the same time. From generation to generation, milk has earned a place in the hearts and refrigerators of families, becoming one of the smartest and simplest ways to give your kids 9 essential nutrients and 8 grams of protein in every 8 ounces of milk.
Speaking from mom to mom and about how busy life can sometimes get, personally I’m always looking for practical solutions that will ensure the well-being of my kids and that’s why I love milk and always have it at home. What makes a food practical and whole is that it doesn’t need any sort of preparation to serve it, and plus it can be enjoyed at any time of the day. In my refrigerator, we always have milk and at home, we drink milk with fruit, with meals and also with pastries. When we feel inspired and want to bake together, we also use it and it’s an essential ingredient in our favorite recipes and, of course, it also goes with them once they’re ready.
And although there are many ways to use milk to create different types of nutritious recipes, the magic of dairy milk is that it doesn’t have any limitations, because whether it’s hot or cold, night or day, there is no nicer way to remind our kids how much we love them than to serve our affection with a glass of milk that will always make them smile and sometimes even give them a mustache.
From the farm to your family, we can all be stronger with milk and one glass of milk can accompany the happiest and most important moments of your life, regardless of where, when or the time of day when they happen.
